American Staffordshire Terrier Mix

Lorelai

  • Almost 4 years old

  • Approx 60lbs

  • Spayed Female

  • Up to date on Vaccines & Vetting

  • HW Negative

Lorelai, the sweetest house hippo you’ll ever meet, is a shining example of resilience and the power of second chances. 💞 Pulled from Memphis Animal Services in September 2022 as part of a felony neglect case, Lorelai arrived at Kane's Mission - Dog Rescue weighing just 26 pounds and battling heartworm. Thanks to the incredible care of her foster family, she has made a full recovery and is now more than ready to find her forever home!

At almost 4 years old and a plumb 60 lbs, Lorelai has left the chaos of puppyhood behind and comes with the comfort of a well-established temperament. She’s fully house-trained and a wonderfully well-behaved houseguest. Lorelai adores all people and is happiest lounging around the house or enjoying a stroll in the backyard. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she prefers canine friends who match her chill vibe and would love to be in a feline-free home.

Despite the hardships she endured, Lorelai’s lively spirit and love for people have never wavered. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who’s ready to soak up all the love and give it right back.

Lorelai is proof that love and care can transform lives. Open your heart to her, and you’ll discover a loyal, loving companion who will fill your home with joy and gratitude. She’s ready to start her happily-ever-after—could it be with you? 🐾❤️

Shades is a velvety little nugget of a girl. She is super sweet and playful, once you gain her trust. She has never had an incident while at the shelter and has spent a great deal of time in the office, meeting everyone who came into the shelter. Shades will do best in a quiet, adult only home. Prince

Mix

  • Approx 4 years old

  • Approx 95 lbs

  • Spayed Female

  • Up to date on Vaccines & Vetting

  • Heart worm negative

Prince is a loveable, house trained guy who is good with other pups and cats. He is up to date on shots and will be chipped prior to adoption/fostering. Prince prefers a quiet, adult only household. He will visit our trainer while being fostered and needs out of the shelter now!

Mittens

Dilute Calico

  • Approx 4 years old

  • Approx 10 lbs

  • Spayed Female

  • Up to date on Vaccines & Vetting

  • Heart worm negative

Mittens was surrendered to our rescue due to too many animals in the home. She is an independent cat, who will snuggle with you occasionally. She might need a little work with litter training- it is intermittent, but it is probably due to the number of cats in the home vs. the number of litter boxes. Mittens is waiting to find the home she relax and unwind in. Could it be yours? :)
