Precious

Domestic Short Hair

Meet Precious. He is a neutered male, who is approximately 5/6 years old. He will do well in a home where he is the only male cat. He is litter trained. He is in a home with 13 other cats, a family member of the owner reached out for help, because they cannot afford vetting or even spays & neuters. We have neutered all of the males, and have all of the females set up on 10/1/24 for their spays, and all of them are getting their final vaccines on 10/2/24. If you are interested in adopting him, please let us know! We know that there are plenty of young kittens available to adopt right now, but the older cats need forever homes too!

Envy

Domestic Short Hair

Meet Envy, she is an approximately 1 year old female. She has had 2 litters and was long overdue for her spay.(Mother of the 9 week olds & 5 month olds.) The home that she came from isn’t financially able to get her and the other 13 cats neutered, utd on vaccines or vetted. They reached out for us to help. All of these cats are looking for their forever homes, and are now fully vaccinated, vetted, FELV/FIV negative, & spayed/neutered.

Penny

Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd

Foster or Foster to Adopt PENNY

Penny is a loving and playful 5 year old Great Pyrenees/ German Shephard. She is a sweetheart that enjoys cuddling, tug-of-war, chewing on her toys, walks and swimming in the creek. She is easily trained, completely toilet trained and food motivated.

She knows all basic commands and then some and has no food aggression.

She does become overwhelmed and frightened with loud noises and moving toys so she is on medication for anxiety. Though could likely come off medication in a less stimulating environment (she currently lives with small children and other animals). She would do best in a home with older children/adults and where she is the only pet.

Mufasa

Great Pyrenees/Lab/Husky Mix

Mufasa is a 1 year old, about 60 lb, Great Pyrenees/Lab/Husky mix.

He is a playful boy full of energy! He knows some basic commands and is potty trained. Does well with kids, cats and other dogs! Mufasa would do best in a home with lots of interaction and space for him to run and/or active owners who will take him on adventures! He does need a visit to the vet to be neutered and to get up to date on his shots but is otherwise very healthy and loveable!

Hazel

American Bully

Meet Hazel. She is a female Tricolor Bully. She is super sweet & extremely food motivated!! She knows basic commands, is a super gentle treat taker, rides well in the car and is housebroken. We don’t know her entire story, but when she came to us, she was skinny, definitely had multiple litters, and has scars all over her front legs. It doesn’t take her long to warm up to humans.

Lorelai

American Staffordshire Terrier Mix

We are accepting applications for our sweet girl, Lorelai. She was a pull from Memphis Animal Services, on September 21, 2022. When she came to us she weighed 26lbs & was heartworm positive. She is with a foster who was getting her through her first few critical months, but still has her. She is more than ready for her furever love!! She is completely house trained, and is a very well behaved house guest. She loves all people, though she is more comfortable with her doggie friends who are more on the chill side. She has gone through her heartworm treatment, over 6 months ago. She is extremely sweet, despite all of the horrors that she endured before coming into our rescue.

Mittens

Dilute Calico

Mittens is being surrendered to our rescue due to too many animals in the home. She is utd on vaccinations & spayed. She is an independent cat, who will snuggle with you occasionally. She might need a little work with litter training, it is intermittent, but it is probably due to the number of cats in the home vs. the number of litter boxes. She is about 3 years old and weighs about 8lbs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to Your Frequently Asked Questions

When will my adoption be finalized?

Adoptions are finalized after your application has been approved, a home, vet and reference check has been done and a meet & greet is successful. This can take anywhere from one week to a month.. It does vary case by case but we do work diligently to get our animals in their forever homes as soon as possible!

What are the fees?

Adoption fees vary based on the size and needs of each animal but in general, they range between $50-$350.

How long are foster commitments?

Foster commitments can be anywhere from a few days to a few months. It depends on each animal and the duration of each foster is discussed before any commitments are made.

My animals have all passed away. Do I still need to provide vet information on the application?

Yes. We ask that you provide information for any pet, alive or deceased, that you have had in your care for the past 7 years.

Do I need experience with animals to volunteer?

No! It can make it easier if you do but of course, it's not necessary. We also have volunteer opportunities that don't directly involve the animals. Fill out our volunteer application!

Is there a minimum age to volunteer?

To volunteer as an adult, we ask that you be at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, we require a parent to volunteer with you. We do sign papers for volunteer/ service hours as well!
